The Weekend Warrior of the Cabot Trail
You’ll curse your way up those climbs and love every minute of it.
This epic 300km+ road ride adventure tests the mettle of any cyclist who partakes, but you’ll hardly notice. The route is a challenging one but perfectly reasonable for anyone who is prepared and takes their time. You’ll cruise up those hills with the knowledge that victory is soon at hand and your efforts are awarded with breathtaking views, delicious food, and the best company — other cyclists, taking on the same achievements as you are. Riders of any level can do this ride at their own pace, and feel nothing but jubilation as they reach the top.
Day 1: We start in the picturesque community of Baddeck. We’ll take the North-West route to Cheticamp, a 97km ride providing the easiest terrain along with some stunning views.
Day 2: After a relaxing evening we continue through Franco-Nouvelle Ecosse country and climb some of the more challenging but beautiful gradients of the ride. We’ll crest the Northern cape of the peninsula then turn south and spend an evening in Ingonish after a rousing 107km. This route includes the infamous North Mountain, West side. It may sound daunting, but provides some of the weekend’s most beautiful scenery as you take in the incomparable vistas of Cape Breton’s Highlands.
Day 3 is shorter, but no less rewarding. We’ll tackle Cape Smokey, with a thrilling rollercoaster through postcard-worthy coastal views before levelling out the revered Highlands. The final 87 Kilometres will be the sweetest moments of your life, as you and your bike ride off into the horizon and finish back in Baddeck.
At the end of the day, everyone will relax as you discuss the shared adventure. We’ll visit the Big Spruce Brewery and then grab some food at a spot of your choosing. You’ll leave the Cabot Trail with the feeling of accomplishment that comes from knowing you conquered a beast of a ride.

Booking Terms
½ Day Tours Booking must be confirmed at least 48 hours prior to the tour. 100% of the tour cost is due at the time of booking.
Bookings made within 24 hours prior to a tour can be accommodated based on the availability of a guide, but a generous gratuity is encouraged.
If the preferred date is taken we will work with the client to find an ideal time for their tour.
Full Day Booking must be confirmed at least 48 hours prior to the tour. 100 % of the tour cost is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy
Weather in Newfoundland and Labrador varies and can be unpredictable. The client should be prepared to ride, hike and cave in a number of conditions and we will work with the client to ensure they have the right gear. It is unlikely Cycle Solutions will cancel a tour due to weather but in the event of an extreme case, we reserve the right to offer no refund and will make every effort to reschedule to a different day or time with the same level of awesome experience.
Full Day and ½ Day Tours Cancellations made at least 1 week prior to the tour date will be refunded in full to the client.
For cancellations made less than 1 week prior to the tour date, Cycle Solutions will retain 50% of the total tour cost. The remaining 50% of the total tour cost will be refunded to the client.
Multi-Day Tours Cancellations made at least 3 weeks prior to the tour date will be refunded in full to the client.
For cancellations made less than 3 weeks but more than 72 hours, prior to the tour date, Cycle Solutions will retain 50% of the total tour cost. The remaining 50% of the total tour cost will be refunded to the client.
For cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour date, Cycle Solutions will retain 75% of the total tour cost.
Rentals Cancellations made at least 1 week prior to the rental date will be refunded in full to the client.
For cancellations made less than 1 week but more than 24 hours prior to the tour date, Cycle Solutions will retain 30% of the total rental cost. The remaining 70% of the total rental cost will be refunded to the client.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental date, Cycle Solutions will retain 50% of the total rental cost.
